Finished Class for Week 2 of #AbortionDoula training. This week we talked about what we want a session with us to look like... I want them to:
- find me #worthy of their #trust.
- feel #empowered.
- be comfortable #speaking in their chosen language.
- feel no #shame.

I find myself looking at AmericanThanatology.com & wondering how to take the plunge or if I even should. I think everyone could benefit from the training but is an #AbortionDoula a real thing? It should be, imo. I gotta figure out the money part of the classes but I feel a deep calling to #DeathWork
I also sat with my dad, a lot of my family actually, as my dad went through #hospice and ultimately died. I've been interested in becoming a #DeathDoula, specifically an #AbortionDoula, for a while... At least since 2015 when my dad died. Every time the thought circles round my brain, I get a sign.
