Post: You ever notice how the world talks about slavery and colonization ? Like it was just a sad chapter, Like it's over and we should all just move on. But here's the truth. If your house was robbed and the thief used what they stole to get rich, would you just say that was the past ? Colonization was ain't just a tragedy. It was a business and the profits still sitting in European banks, museums full of stolen African art, gold and diamonds still mined by foreign companies. Generational wealth built on generational theft. And every time reparations are mentioned, they call it unrealistic. But somehow there was money for slave owners when slavery ended. There was money to rebuild Europe after World War Two. There's money for war, oil and corporate bailouts, but none for the people whose lands were looted, whose families were enslaved, whose futures were stolen. Reparations aren't just about money. They're about justice. About returning what was taken, land, art, opportunity, about acknowledging the truth instead of burying it. Africa and the African diaspora built the modern world and were never paid. It's not about guilt. It's about repair. Because the wound is still. I'll open and if they could afford to steal it, they can afford to give it back. Follow and share. If you believe stolen wealth needs to be returned and history needs to be made right. They say reparations are unrealistic, but they weren't when slave owners got paid. So why not the people who were robbed ? Share, believe inspire blacks be.
