Well, this season is certainly moving along faster than it usually does. I wonder if we'll see a permanent shift in how the season goes. Last year we had a crazy amount of swarms in my area, due to hives developing much faster than usual. 🐝

honeybees do strange things sometimes. Traps all around and this hive decides oh the empty box next to the house works. Their adaptation skills are incredible to watch, particularly when they overcome incredible odds

Here in the SE US, honeybees have/will begin rearing brood. Thermal properties of the hive are the biggest problem for honeybees right now.
