Aeliakyu is doing a dress up event, and I could not resist. I picked her character Eve. This started up as a sketch of a very 18th century mantua inspired outfit, going for the big black overdress elements you see in some of Eve's outfits as well as the pastel pink tones and elements of her super feminine style. I ended up changing the design sketch from floor lenght to mid lower leg lenght. And then it raised to above the knees on the final version, because that seemed more like the character.
