For me, it was Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle and Saphira, Smaug in Middle Earth, then Age of Fire and Wings of Fire...

I hope it;s a milder season too but things are trending in the wrong direction. Most wildfire seasons will just gt hotter and more intense.
