Check out a few highlights from Climate TRACE research teams at #AGU2025. Did you attend AGU last year? Which sessions caught your attention?
I'm back briefly on Discovery with interviews from #AGU2025
This week a focus on space science - with prospects of a 2032 lunar impact by asteroid 2024YR4 @asrivkin.bsky.social; new views of solar-earth connections inc NASA's all-round PUNCH (below); & lunar seismology

Wrapping up 2025 with AGU in New Orleans felt just right. Shared work on GPU native land surface modeling and an invited talk on trait based radiative transfer, plus the hallway conversations that remind me why I love science. Grateful for this community and looking ahead to 2026. #AGU2025
“Is Europa truly dead?” a planetary scientist asked himself after some disheartening results for the moon. “Or should we broaden our perspective on other mechanisms that can sustain life?” (Spoiler: he chose the latter)🌱🦠

It was a pleasure to be able to share my research this year at #AGU2025 @agu.org @agucryo.bsky.social
The most wonderful about this week's #AGU2025 was seeing so many students and early career researchers sharing their work, radiating with their passion and love for science and our planet. This felt like the best New Year's gift amidst the times and much hope for the future. Thank you, @agu.org
Our Department Head and Professor Eric Maloney was elected as an AGU Fellow, joining a distinguished group of 52 individuals in the #AGU2025 Class of Fellows.

That’s a wrap on #AGU2025 for me- about a million steps later and mentioning methane seeps and marine sediment cores every other sentence.
Two people smiling and giving a high five with one of their legs kicked back. Behind them is a four foot long poster presenting the results of their scientific research. They are wearing name badges for the conference they attended and below them are backpacks and water bottles.
A successful poster presentation at #AGU25 #AGU2025! Two undergraduate students from Gustavus Adolphus College presenting the results of their year+ long research into the impacts of warfare on soil erosion and forest disturbance.
☝ Don't forget our fine presenters on the last fabulous day of #AGU2025! Both Prateek and Morgan are two of our NASA Jack Eddy Postdoctoral Fellows ☀️
