I'm in that phase of work where all my immediate deadlines have been met and I'm just waiting for things to trickle back in from clients. It's nerve-racking and unavoidable. #AmEditing #AmWriting #AmWaiting

It feels like I'm doing a lot of waiting around these days. Waiting to hear back from agents. Waiting to hear back about competitions, about that short story that was going to be pubbed ages ago. And all of it is out of my control. Best I can do is find something else to do.

Just submitted what was more or less my pandemic project to 5 presses today. (Not academic, so simultaneous submissions are fine.) I have about 10-12 other places picked out to submit over the course of the calendar year and my fingers firmly crossed that one of them wants it! #amwriting #amwaiting

As per my previous email, I was freaking out over nothing like always. The tracking was updated this morning, and my proof copy is ON TRACK to be delivered tomorrow! 😍😍
