Years ago I went on a solo 3 wk trip visiting the #NationalParks of the U.S. I went to the summit of #AngelsLanding in Zion NP where I met & hiked with a Park Ranger who was also on a solo trip before transferring to Alaska. I will miss going to the US for experiences like this where I took her 📸

You need a permit to hike Angels Landing. I got mine through the daily lottery, the day before my hike. Considering this, I was surprised how many people were on the trail! The hike was easier than I expected, and the views were truly stunning. Probably wouldn’t want to do it if it were over 80° though; I think the temps were teetering around 75° and it felt hot!
