#AoIR conferences have expanded my understanding of our world through transcultural explorations of internet content, practices and structures since Dublin in 2022. Muito obrigada to our amazing #AoIR2025 hosts at the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niterói, RJ, Brazil!

I wish I could have gone to Brazil for #AoIR or even to Cork for #IDWCon. But it was a good decision not to, since the last fortnight here has been exhausting to the point that last night I came home at a reasonable time from the pub after a couple of drinks then accidently fell asleep on the sofa.

Quick recap of what my #AoIR has been so far. On the first day, I attended the "Chronic Problems" workshop on temporality by @ludludlud.bsky.social, Christian Pentzold, and @tomdivon.bsky.social. 10 short presentations + discussions about time in theory, methods, and analysis = lots of "time" puns!
