It takes awhile for me to know if I really like one of my own paintings. I generally know about when I’ve finished painting it. Then I hang it somewhere and look at it for sometimes weeks. This one makes me happy to look at, the longer it sits here hanging in my studio, the more it grows on me. One of the very first meditation paintings I ever did was in this style. I wanted to represent the sensation of gazing into my third eye, or infinity or whatever those moments are when I can actually drop all my thoughts and feel the connections, without trying, or rather- after trying failing trying failing trying failing, and then in all the trying and failing, that practice of both, brings you here. This one is 24” x 24” and it is available if you’re interested in buying it, please dm me ❤️✌️ #painting #meditationpainting #meditation #trying #nottrying #abstractpainting #abstractart #woven #arizonartist
