Components: 2 ea CHA SS-17 whips, 1 CHA Ground stake, 1 CHA Hybrid (1:5), loop top wire, 50' RG-58C coax, yellow wire marking stakes, red guy line to stop loop from twisting in the wind, and a plastic box to protect against the rain that didn't happen here.

Harder time getting out QRP CW this morning on 80 & 40m. Surprised how infrequently I’m copying 73/72 or a closing dit dit in this years non-contest. Taking it casual this year, come & go 1D got 9 CW & 1 PSK31 last nite. #ARRLFD #hamradio

Yaesu FT-897 for transmitting, Elecraft KX3 for transmitting, Elecraft PX3 for waterfall, and plenty of PC software windows on monitor for finding strong stations, and graphical display to see whom were talking too.

A gas-powered generator on a blue tarp. A fire extinguisher and a can of fuel are placed next to it. Two traffic cones highlight the area. A smaller, older-looking generator is off to the site, but isn’t connected.
We’re operating fully off the grid for those precious extra points. The green generator runs on alcohol as “alternative fuel.”
