Mel Ramsden (1944-2024) vient de disparaître à l’âge de 80 ans. Il emporte avec lui une certaine ironie allant jusqu’à rabaisser les dogmes les plus inébranlables de la peinture moderne que peu de peintres ont oser contredire. Naturellement le monochrome est devenu sa bête noire. #artandlanguage
