Day 21 of the #100dayproject
This week I’ve participated in Sketch Week, led by Adebanji Alade. I drew this from a reference image he provided.
Follow him if you’d like to participate in his next Sketch Week. He does them 2x/year. Highly recommend!

Day 20 of the #100dayproject
This week I’m participating in Sketch Week, led by Adebanji Alade.
Today’s theme was animal textures. I drew this from reference images he provided. The feathery one isn’t a whole bird.

Days 18-19 of the #100dayproject
This week I’m participating in Sketch Week, led by Adebanji Alade. I drew this from a reference image he provided.
Because my sketch paper is beige, the paint pen highlights are whiter than I want them to be.
I’m learning a lot!

Day 17 of the #100dayproject
This week I’m participating in Sketch Week, led by Adebanji Alade Artist
Day one was drawing an eye and a mouth from a reference image he provided.
I’m pleased with this as my starting place.

Enjoying the #100day project. Also enjoying choosing not to share every day. Working on a multi-day project.

‘Blind’ contour drawing with felt tip pen. For second version, I added colored pencil, while peeking.
I like both. Do you have a preference?

Day 8 of #the100dayproject
Media I don’t typically use: acrylic paint, stencil. Also felt tip marker.

Day 7 of #the100dayproject
Nature Journaling experience led by Melinda Nakagawa.
Blind contour drawing (looking at subject, not paper). She suggests that writing on a page you've drawn on makes it less 'precious,' helps relesae perfectionism & relax into connecting with nature.

Quickie today for #the100dayproject
Blind contour drawing of jar of paint brushes and chopsticks, with ‘sighted’ water color pencil added.
Rules broken:
1) adding to a contour drawing while peeking
2) I don’t put my brushes away with paint on them!

Days 2-5 of #the100DayProject.
Colored pencil.

Day 1 of #the100dayproject!
I began with this journal entry that helped define what I'll be doing for 100 days: exploring, playing, having fun, and breaking rules!
I broke a lot of rules creating these pages.
