This is a canvas painting created with acrylic paint, spray paint and enamel paint pens. The piece shows a hummingbird in flight, the wings wrap around the body covering its midsection and tail feathers, the feathers are yellow faced into orange and pink with a light blue splattered background. All of The feathers are outlined with thick black lines, teal and silver accents. This was painted by S.Finch in 2021 during the pandemic. The eye of the bird is left blank intentionally as to draw the eye of the audience to its imperfections and make them ask questions about why it's "incomplete" rather than focus on the colours, motion and beauty of a bird in motion.
