#HPM #palliative #endoflife reflecting on my weekend working. #assiteddying has come up a lot both for & against but specifically about empowering ppl to make decisions about how they live until they die. Conversations can be hard, but can done as a co-navigator of their lives

They really did pass it. I thought it would be close and maybe not go through.
I was for assisted dying as long as proper safeguards in place…hopeful this law can now be scrutinised in the Lords and become law eventually. Time to wait and see how it will work in practice. #AssitedDying

Considering this aspect of #assiteddying further, I personally feel that it should not be restricted to self administration only. This would be restrictive to the therapies available and could limit the symptom control that could be achieved by physician-administered suicide.
