The whole "speaking truth to power" thing she build her science journalism career on, with the sexual misconduct / #AstroSH / #AstroSA coverage, is just totally gone. Shitting on trans people (and ignoring science to do so, as a sci journo) is Definitely Not It.
Excellent article here. It's disappointing to see how far Ghorayshi has fallen from her coverage of #AstroSH & #AstroSA, which I thought was well done, to being one of the big writers in NYT's anti-trans agenda.
