玄関に植わってました。赤い実のなる木は縁起物なんですよね。子どもの頃から見慣れているアオキがこれだったので、こういう葉っぱの植物だと思っていたのですが、これは斑入りの園芸品種だったのですね。

私にとって、アオキといえばこの葉っぱの樹木なのですが、斑入りの園芸品種だったんですね。山野に自生しているアオキの葉は緑色です。実がつきはじめていました。真っ赤な実は縁起が良いので、庭木として人気です。
