System availability is the #1 thing. SLAs don't hold as much weight when it's not your gear to begin with - the AVaaS provider should be the one keeping them at a high percentage of availability however they need to. #avintheam #avmsp #avtweeps

I believe that AVaaS is still a subset of managed services (or a vendor managed by an MSP). The hardware leaser is looking out of for their investment. That's fine. But the managed side of things might need to come from someone who has the customer's needs in mind. #avintheam #avmsp #avtweeps

Every hardware manufacture wants to go back to landlording. You never own the product, only rent it from them. This is coming in the AV industry and has been spearheaded by Microsoft's efforts for years to do this with Office and Windows.
