Thomas is accused of supporting a ‘criminal organisation’ under §129, and the six co-defendants are alleged to have been members of this organisation. All seven are accused of attacking neo-Nazis. The trial is the largest case against anti-fascists for an association offence in the last 30 years. The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (BAW) is determined to uphold the construct of the criminal organisation and condemn anti-fascism. The verdict just handed down against Hanna shows where this is headed. The BAW sees anti-fascism as a threat to the state's monopoly on the use of force. The same state that refuses to comply with the demands of the survivors of Nazi terror for clarification and justice. The same state that allows the supporters and accomplices of the NSU murders to walk free. It is this very state that is now putting those on trial whom it accuses of trying to counter decades of Nazi terror in order to stop the violence. The BAW's argumentation presents the defendants as anti-fascists in court and targets everyone who is involved in anti-fascist activism. This attack by the state is therefore aimed at the entire anti-fascist movement. That is why we stand by the defendants and will not leave them alone!
We are all Antifa! The event will focus on the political context of the charges and the proceedings, as well as providing an outlook on what can be expected in and from the trial. Thomas wird vorgeworfen eine „kriminellen Vereinigung“ nach §129 unterstützt zu haben, die sechs Mitangeklagten sollen Mitglieder eben dieser gewesen sein. Allen sieben wird vorgeworfen Neonazis angegriffen zu haben. Der Prozess ist das größte Verfahren gegen Antifaschist*innen wegen einem Vereinigungsdelikt in den letzten 30 Jahren. Es gibt von Seiten der Bundesanwaltschaft (BAW) den unbedingten Willen, das Konstrukt der kriminellen Vereinigung aufrecht zu erhalten und Antifaschismus zu verurteilen. Das gerade gesprochene Urteil gegen Hanna zeigt auf, wohin es gehen wird. Im Antifaschismus sieht die BAW das Gewaltmonopol des Staates bedroht. Jener Staat, der sich weigert, den Forderungen der Hinterblieben der Opfer von Naziterror nach Aufklärung und Gerechtigkeit nachzukommen. Jener Staat, der die Unterstützer*innen und Kompliz*innen der NSU-Morde frei herumlaufen lässt. Eben jener Staat stellt nun diejenigen vor Gericht, denen er vorwirft, zu versuchen, dem jahrzehntelangem Naziterror etwas entgegen zu setzen, um die Gewalt zu stoppen. Die Argumentation der BAW stellt die Angeklagten als Antifaschist*innen vor Gericht, und hat alle im Visier, die sich antifaschistisch engagieren.
Dieser Angriff des Staates zielt somit auf die gesamte antifaschistische Bewegung. Daher stehen wir an der Seite der Angeklagten und lassen sie nicht allein! Wir sind alle Antifa! Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wird es um eine politische Einordnung der Anklagepunkte und des Verfahrens gehen sowie einen Ausblick darauf geben, was im und vom Prozess zu erwarten ist.
