Brushing doll hair is great stress relief. Sometimes I like to debox a doll that's never been out b4 & take her hair from sticky-gummy to smooth. Beauty Secrets Barbie & Christie have been downright therapeutic for me.

I find cleaning up dolls soothing. This Free Movin' PJ had frizz all the way thru the hair. Fabric softener & hot water & lots of careful combing. Was able to get about 75% of hair de-frizzed. She's one I had as a girl, so am pleased to get her shined up. #BarbieCollecting #DollSky #VintageBarbie

As a collector, I view 1959-67 as "Vintage" and 1967-75 as "Mod", per the dominant face sculpt of those yrs.
