One of my locals, and what has become a family tradition on Mother's Day: a walk to forage for #wildgarlic!

2 mostly red canal boats (aka narrow boats) moored on the Basingstoke Canal. It's a sunny day, and the green foliage of trees and bushes next to the canal is reflected on the calm canal like a mirror, with the red paintwork on the boats reflecting really well.

I set off to my fortnightly blood test moaning that I didn't want to have to cycle the 8 mile round trip *again*.

Soon after I gave myself a talking to. How could I moan about the privilege of cycling along the beautiful #BasingstokeCanal in all its different seasonal clothing?
