Tried to install #GTAV this morning and it failed b/c of a little something called #battleye - anti-cheat software

Pero leo en #Steam que, aun así, #BattlEye es obligatorio. Tanto con conexión o sin ella; supuestamente.

Back in 2021 #Valve made it incredibly easy for #BattlEye to work in Linux. All the devs have to do is ask BattleEye to enable Linux support for their specific game. I have no idea why #Bungie and #Rockstar have not done this when the solution is so simple.
Looks like Rockstar officially dropped support for #GTAOnline on #Linux, but at least they had the decency of not requiring #Battleye on the single-player part. support.rockstargames.com/arti…
