Good evening from Basel, where England have repeated their feat of three years ago and emerged victorious to retain their European title. It was a prolonged and eventually dramatic victory over World Champions Spain, with the match at 1-1 after extra time, followed by a tense penalty shootout. It means the team has made English football history by becoming the first to win a major trophy on foreign soil.
