Here in north #cumbria, they’ve installed audible warnings on speed limit signs - I believe it’s called a Wireless Roadside Enforcement Notifier ;)

The geese that have overwintered here have been massing on the #Solway for the past couple of days. They’re doing their final preparations before heading off “home”: Svalbard, Faroe Islands, Iceland, etc.
It’s been a pleasure having them around :)

Really lucky yesterday to be able to watch a pod of dolphins go by from the cliffs at Tynemouth, North Shields - not a great picture, but the best I could manage from over 1km away!

On Wednesday, we watched this common redshank at Silloth in #cumbria sticking to its perch in the face of the incoming tide - we decided to call it King Canute ;)
