#beatoftheweek Donkey Kong Bananza, what a roller coaster of a game. I found new wonderful things at every turn. It’s definitely my current favorite Switch 2 game!

#beatoftheweek XIII runs a lot better on Switch 2 than it did on Switch 1. It was dumb fun and a great mindless kill everything FPS even if there were some annoying stealth missions.

#beatoftheweek Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I left this game originally to finish Sonic Superstars and never came back. It was nice to beat it this time with Jess for @gamesmymomfound.bsky.social recording tonight!

It took some years and a couple of systems but I finally beat Ys IX: Monstrum Nox! It runs much better on Switch 2. I beat the Super boss as well! #beatoftheweek

#beatoftheweek Mario Kart World! Fuck this $80 game! Sarcasm but for real we beat it in one day. I hope there is more to do. Still haven’t really tried free roam mode. Yay Switch 2.

Probably my last #beatoftheweek on Switch 1 but I beat Gradius Interstellar Assault or Nemesis II. It was a really fun shooter for Game Boy. Check it out on NSO!

#beatoftheweek Capcom Fighting Collection 2. It’s an excellent collection of games and most of them I hadn’t played before. Capcom vs SNK 1 & 2 are goat. Fuck Power Stone.

Waiting for the Gamecube controller to be available and beating Metal Gear Solid. Why did they not put save states in the collection? That end part was annoying. #beatoftheweek

First beat of 2025! The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom! It was good game eventhough some of the mechanics could be annoying and the windup echoes were pretty pointless. #beatoftheweek

Got in another beat before the end of the year. I will miss saying Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath Vengance of the Slayer. Great FPS that never takes itself too seriously and has great sound design. #beatoftheweek
