In better news, it's salmonberry (Rubus spectabilis) season in the Northwest. Ripe berries range from yellowish-orange to purplish-red - these were all picked from the same patch.

They're so pretty I'm giving them a pass for #bloomscrolling (or perhaps kicking off #berryscrolling)
