Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Sağlık, Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesi'ne giden 9 yaşındaki küçük kızın midesinden oldukça nadir görülen bir tablo ortaya çıktı.  MİDESİNDEKİ DEVASA SAÇ YUMAĞI ÇIKARTILDI Küçük hastaya doktorlar tarafından endoskopik ve radyolojik muayeneler yapıldı. İncelemeler sonucunda, 9 yaşındaki kız çocuğunun midesinde devasa bir saç yumağı bulunduğu tespit edildi. Hastanın midesinden çıkan şoke etti! Karın ağrısıyla hastaneye gitti, midesinden 50 santim saç çıktı! SAÇ YEME HASTALIĞINDAN KAYNAKLI Tıp literatüründe 'bezoar' olarak adlandırılan ve genellikle uzun süreli saç ya da yabancı madde yeme alışkanlığı sonucu mide içinde birikerek oluştuğu belirtilen kitleyle ilgili Çocuk Cerrahisi Uzmanları Op. Dr. Berkay Tekkanat ve Op. Dr. İbrahim Yıldırım tarafından cerrahi işlem gerçekleştirildi. Ameliyat sonrası birkaç gün boyunca gözlem altında tutulan hastanın sağlıklı bir şekilde taburcu edildiği öğrenildi. "MİDEYİ TAMAMEN DOLDURMUŞ" Operasyonla ilgili açıklamada bulunan Op. Dr. Berkay Tekkanat, "Hastamızın uzun süredir saç yutma alışkanlığı olduğu öğrenildi. Bu saçlar sindirilemediği için zamanla mide içerisinde birikmiş ve devasa bir kitle halini almış. Bu durum, hem fiziksel hem psikolojik açıdan önemli bir sorun. Kitle o kadar büyümüş ki, mideyi tamamen doldurduğunu gördük. Bu tür durumlar zamanında fark edilmediğinde, bağırsak tıkanıklığı, mide delinmesi gibi ciddi ve hayati tehlike arz eden komplikasyonlara yol açabiliyor. Neyse ki zamanında müdahale ettik ve başarılı bir ameliyatla bu kitleyi çıkardık" dedi. "Çocuk yaş grubunda oldukça nadir görülen bir tablo" Operasyonda görev alan bir diğer cerrah Op. Dr. İbrahim Yıldırım ise, şunları söyledi: "Bezoar oluşumu, özellikle çocuk yaş grubunda oldukça nadir görülen bir tablo. Ancak son yıllarda, çeşitli faktörlere bağlı olarak saç yeme alışkanlığının (trikofaji) daha sık karşımıza çıkmaya başladığını gözlemliyoruz. Ailelerin bu tür davranışları fark etmesi ve zamanında bir uzmana başvurması hayati önem taşıyor. Bu vaka, bize hem tıbbi hem de psikolojik açıdan bütüncül yaklaşımın ne kadar önemli olduğunu bir kez daha hatırlattı."
