Kids grow up so quickly and it's important to watch them riding. I saw Lucia mostly standing on her pedals, butt hovering a foot over her saddle. I adjusted her seat up and she starting riding much faster because she had more power.

It's a testament to the "takes a village" community that the #biketrain is building when this conductor's alarm didn't wake me up this morning, ran out the door biking to the train stop 5 minutes late and 4 kids and a mom were waiting with smiles for me.
How about we give these kids a protected 2-way bike lane next to their sidewalk desire line with all that unused pavement?
