An Eurasian Moorhen doing some early morning fishing.
These are quite chatty birds while they’re hiding in the bush, but very shy unless you’ve camped out in a spot long enough for them to come out of hiding. A beautiful bird.

This was in May when the temps here are well into the 40s (over 105F)!

Found this cute Stonechat as it hunted insects in thick brush.
These guys love wintering in Northern Africa and the Arabian coasts. They’re rapid, insanely accurate insect gatherers.
