I saw this ending, because of a great movie I once saw. Strangely, I was *not* moved to tears, but if Reddit is any indication, most people will uglykry buckets.
Giamatti's performance was great, though the character was a bit cliche.

Hotel Reverie: A typically bleak and thought-provoking episode concerning a film studio reviving an old black and white romance film through AI software. Brandy and Dorothy's relationship is so interesting, given it's based on a lie of the original movie's plot #BlackMirrorS7

Wasn't sure where ep4 "Plaything" was heading but, yet another stereotype killer nerd character again. 4:3 video was nice touch for 90s throwback. Gaming, internet demographic's changed a lot since. Sim reminds me of Creatures except today's AI more advanced #blackmirrors7

Ep3 "Hotel Reverie" was quite a snoozer, almost NFI... Advanced movie making with AI cast. Like a cross between VRMMORPG shows like Sword Art Online except poor characters, dull game world with boring direction. I like retro works but this wasn't one of them. #BlackMirrorS7

Started ep2 "Bete Noire" and thought, "Tech genius, victim of bullying out to get revenge...?" Direction was pretty easy to guess. First ep had good characters, this had the better atmosphere. Very heavy mystery and tension. Good job playing the sinister role #blackmirrors7

Might want to keep the volume down for the second half of episode 1 "Common People" though, haha #BlackMirrorS7

Glad to see it kicks off with its sci-fi roots again instead of cliche horror. Nice characters, good soundtrack too. I like how it takes a bash at how some businesses exploit subscription services and how you have no control over cloud-based services #BlackMirrorS7
