Swans relocated from their dried out #WesternHarbourPonds home to #BlackfordPond, where no Swans have nested in past year. Residents had been placing buckets of water for them to wash off mud, drink, also feeding them (no bread). #ScottishSPCA and @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social relocated them.

It seems the local Natural Heritage officers suspect the swan deaths at #BlackfordPond may be fox or dog attack, due to prints found the island. Bird flu not currently suspected. #Edinburgh
