… when I posted this thread I didn’t know the final margin of victory for Omaha’s first black Mayor, Dem. John Ewing. But he won by nearly 14 points over 3-term (~moderate, who took a MAGA turn at end as desperation set in) GOP Mayor Jean Stothert (who outspent Ewing by ~$150K)! #BlueDotOmaha

Omaha flipped the mayor tonight and it wasn't close. The incumbent stood there next to the very unpopular NE governor. After 12 years the voters finally figured out who the Rs are. All that R money couldn't buy another mayor.
