One more Blue Palo Verde post. Did you know that this incredible plant is rain deciduous? Yeah, it drops its leaves to conserve water in the desert heat and only grows them back when there's rain to support them. I think that's pretty cool! 💚

I absolutely love bright yellow tree flowers! Both the flowers and beans of the Blue Palo Verde are edible, but I have never tried them.
