I know there's no point of reference (maybe I'll post the old version as a reply... haven't decided yet), but here's a list of things I changed. - I made his ears smaller. They were a little too tall. - I tried to give him a more intimidating look. - I lowered his muzzle. Compared to the model from the movie, it was way too high up. - Also shortened the muzzle. It was sticking out too far. (Looking at it now, I could probably shorten it a little more...) - Reduced the size of his nose. - Redrew his tag. Also gave it some shine. - Reduced his entire body to be a little smaller. It was just way too big compared to how he looked in the movie (and how I never notice such a mistake when drawing him back then...) - Completely redrew the thunderbolt on his side, as well as gave it some scruff to indicate it's on fur. It's his mark of power, you know! - Completely redrew his tail. Now it's more relaxed, as opposed to it pointed upwards. - Made his claws and paw pads dark grey, instead of making them solid black. Before, it was hard to determine where one began and the other ended. (I toyed with doing the same to his nose and lips, but I liked them better in solid black. Probably creates an inconsistency, but...) - The middle digit on his left hind paw was way off, so I redrew it. - General line improvements here and there. Again, there are other things I can probably do, but for now, I think it looks way better than the old. I actually kind of like it now.
