The Year in ARC’s
2024 was the year I tried my hand at reviewing Advanced Reader's Copies of new independent or small press books coming out. I wasn't looking for anyone in particular, but I was approached by someone at Book Sirens, a group that connects readers with authors who are willing to read their books and review them. At first I was hesitant because, as I've mentioned before, I felt uncomfortable with getting free books and the authors expecting to get great reviews for them.
