Our friends eldest son is running the Brighton marathon today, her youngest was escorted home by a friend at midnight, and threw up 🤮.. as he staggered to bed he mumbled he may not make it to see his brother start the run! 🤣 #BrightonMarathon 👟

Thousands of runners are expected to take part in the 2026 Brighton Marathon on 12 April. The first event in the city took place in 2010, with just over 7,500 competitors, but more than 20,000 participants are expected to start the 26.2-mile (41.1km) race this year.
If you’re running the Brighton Marathon this year, please be aware that the course is half a mile shorter for people using metric measurements than for those using imperial.
