Granted it appeared the month before that as an April Foolβs Joke and [adult swim] said to their viewers if they wanted TOONAMI to come back to let them know using the hashtag #BringBackTOONAMI and after a month they announced they were bringing the block back and its been back ever since.
#BringBackToonami that started with April Fool's Day 2012 and led to the block coming back. It was from fan support.
