Germany sets up military division dedicated to territorial defence The German military will establish a new division tasked exclusively with territorial defence, the army said on Saturday, bringing all existing reserve units under direct army command.

This is just a fraction of what's needed for EU defence. Something I note missing is a massive required boost in training many new medics for the Bundeswehr, a lesson hard learned by Ukraine.
