Pieris mannii, southern small white male

While I was cleaning up the moth trap this morning a male southern small white was already flying around in the garden. See how the discal spot touches the surrounding veins over a few mm, in male small white this spot is smaller and does not or only barely touch the veins. #butterflyID

Is there anyone here who knows about #butterflies? I saw one today on Dawlish Warren, smallish in size, very very very pale bluish in colour. Feeding on cuckoo flower. #ButterflyID I have seen it there before. Unfortunately did not get close enough for a photo.
