Which nation treats the Byzantine Empire as part of its own history curriculum?
The #Byzantine Empire lasted over a thousand years, and even toward its end, its people were still debating and fighting among themselves over the nature of Christ and Christian theology.

A high-contrast, atmospheric photograph inside a Greek Orthodox church. In the foreground, a person’s hand reaches out to place a thin yellow taper candle into a large, ornate brass circular candelabra filled with glowing flames. The background features a white stone archway (iconostasis) adorned with intricate carvings, Greek inscriptions, and a red shield featuring a white double-headed eagle. The scene is split between the warm, golden glow of the beeswax candles and the cool, moody blue shadows of the church interior.
