Our best evening of the trip was when we got to explore Yasaka shrine after dining at Teppan Tavern Tenamoya. There was a night market being held, and the place was gorgeous and lively. I highly recommend checking out some Shrines and Temples at night.

Foodtip in Japan- Explore those hidden gems that are in little alleys, especially if the locals seem to really like the place. Nothing quite like having a drink with other people and conversing in broken japanese and english, laughing the whole time.
