A well prepared mise-en-place makes for a stress-free cook, even with a first time recipe.

Onions, garlic, red bell pepper, & celery are the base for what will be a flavorful stewing sauce.

Tomato pure, beef broth, & a bay leaf are added to the pot to begin the hour long simmer.

The final dish 😋 topped with fresh scallions.

Last night's dinner was the savory #caldereta - Filipino goat stew 🍽 The recipe was simple and the ingredients were easy to find.
