#cansonxl makes decent drawing paper for youngsters to start on. Retails basicly all over the globe for same price. #Hahnemuhle is bit more expensive and is nice for watercolor layers; I use that too; if the lady starts about layering colors that is next step paperwise.
Lol. My #CansonXL #Aquarelle A3 ringband is HUGE #ART #Watercolor and HEAVY. Did not expect that. I know the paper is not archival, so if anything good comes from that, I will mainly use it for full botanical paintings, I can make a print of it in any size I want, so I am thrilled to have this.

2 sheets of gray paper, one with a laboriously created rectangle grid, and the other with a grid created in Affinity Designer 2 and simply printed out.
And furthermore... I was making swatch pages with a ✏️ and 📏 which took a way too many minutes.
BUT NOW, thanks to #AffinityDesigner2 (NOT #InDesign ) #CansonXL sanded paper, I can print them out!!
