I love integration of song performance as story arc in dramas. Despite some writing flaws i loved her touching portrayal & was impressed by her performance🥰

Did you watch #CastawayDiva yet? As much as I found the plot a bit meh, it's worth trying even if only for Park Eun Bin's singing 💯

I agree he was good here - & more recently in #MyDearestNemesis & WLGYT - but for me the absolute highlight of #CastawayDiva was when Park Eun-bin’s character starts secretly singing in the background; especially once you know it is *actually* Park Eun-bin singing! 🤩

Dropping #CastawayDiva I can understand (notwithstanding Park Eun-bin’s *a-mazing* singing voice - did you hear her sing?), but #HittheTop was a quiet riot of fun! The ML (I forget his name now) & Lee Se-Young’s character had crackling chemistry together, & it was pretty funny in places 🙂

If one applies the criteria more loosely, where it is more about the characters than the music per se, then I can say I’ve enjoyed dramas like #HitTheTop (as well as #CastawayDiva, which was disappointing in the end, but I was on board with the concept)

#UndercoverHighschool is the 10/10 kdrama I waited for since #CastawayDiva ended. I guess the secret recipe for a me-drama is : whacky plot but keen characters, and a male lead with dreamy sad eyes.

She’s such an intelligent actress, & so capable too! Her singing in #CastawayDiva was amazing, & I remember reading that she relearned the violin for #DoYouLikeBrahms. The last role description is of course her forthcoming drama #HyperKnife, so I’ve only seen clips of her in that role

I haven't finished the first, but the others are lovely. I'd vote for #castawaydiva first.

Must find soothing new-to-me #kdrama that hits the sweet spot. Finished #FamilyByChoice (yup I'd say Kim San Ha's mama has borderline personality disorder). I'll miss all my sweet imaginary friends in Haedong!

Maybe it's time for #TwinklingWatermelon ? Or #CastawayDiva ? Or maybe #LoveScout ?
