I used to admire @kaine.senate.gov also, but he was recently part of the #CaveCaucus that gave away the leverage of the government shutdown to force 45 & GOP to extend the ACA subsidies & prevent millions of Americans healthcare insurance from skyrocketing costs.

Schumer should’ve gotten his caucus to hold the line on the shutdown showdown. He did not. He was either weak or the #CaveCaucus was paid off by the airline industry. Schumer will lose his seat because of this. AOC is the most likely person to take that seat, which I suspect she’ll do in 2028.
