A CD of Liz Phair's 1994 album, Whip Smart, being held up to a window. What appear to be cracks along the outer edge of the disc let the light through.
One of the more artful-looking variations of disc rot I've seen. I thought I might luck out, since the album is relatively short, but the player gets stuck in the middle of track 13. Track 14 plays fine.
Oh well. It's over 30 years old.

Eve's Plum - Cherry Alive. Final album for the group, released in 1995. The singer, Colleen Fitzpatrick, later released music as Vitamin C. Singles were "Jesus Loves You(Not As Much As I Do)" and "Wishing the Day Away." Standout songs for me are Cherry Alive and Lipstuck. #CDFriday

One of my all-time favorites: Don Cherry’s Brown Rice. A mesmerizing journey through jazz, world rhythms, and spiritual soundscapes. Every listen feels timeless, intimate, and full of surprises. Truly a masterpiece that keeps inspiring me. #cdfriday
