Rising from the abyss (was lying in bed) to say there are 2 LoZ inspired reflections in #ceilore. Grisja is the Tetra expy whose world was flooded during its rejoining. She is the Warrior of Time who fled to Xevalien's world and his city based off Termina that was researching time-space magic.
I'm figuring out a way to shove part of 7.4 into #ceilore. Only the end-ish of 7.3 is in his lore. 7.1 and 7.2 got deleted. I'm getting scraps and pasting them into a beautiful creechur of a storyline that makes sense and is respectful of the first half of DT. It remembers that it once lived.
In Cei's village in Thavnair, there are many au ra from Othard so a lot of their traditions are carried across the sea. There's a shrine that people pray to like they would in the Ruby undersea communities. Cei goes home for New Years to spend time with family. Now Tal and Er' join too.

Oh. It actually would be interesting if GJ was some kind of clone. ZJ going through his dad issues both ways and Er' going through his parent issues both ways is really interesting for #ceilore. Er' doesn't enter the timespace anomaly (that replaces the dome), but parenting is a point of tension.
....tbh i'm not sure how to handle Gulool Ja in #ceilore because the dome doesn't exist so the situation with his mother doesn't exist. Which is fine because WTF @ that plot point yakno.

I don't think too deeply about every NPC in #ceilore because there's a shtt load of them and I don't have the capacity or care to do so much thinking.
But I do wonder now if Ysayle lives and if she does then what is she even up to lol
For #ceilore I changed more than half of 7.0 to suit several NPCs because I like what I like. Also less hyur-like appearances for non-hyur in general (peets, more fuzz, more fangs, more scales etc).

In #ceilore, Erenville remains a gleaner as it gives him reason to continue his travels while earning some money for his family. He doesn't have to, but he sends home a good portion of income back to Cei to help with childrearing expenses. He's a good dad (and Cahciua teases him endlessly about it).
7.2 and 7.3 doesn't happen in #ceilore. The fight with Necron takes place right after the fight in the Interphos because don't you love a boss rush?
Cei has been chillin on the beach, with wachumeqimeqi, with the pelupelu and mamool ja. He is chillin.
The fight with Calyx and Necron happened immediately after the fight with Queen Sphene in the Interphos as far as #ceilore. It didn't take a whole 3 patches. It all happened immediately.
Afterwards, LM was shut down forever. Origenics was dismantled. No more of playing with life as a currency.
I really like using au ra august to add little tidbits about the lesser known #ceilore when I can
I mean Talzhan appeared from a blooming flower on Cei's island, a gift from Feo Ul that is the perfect combination of him and Er', so a kid walking up to him would be kinda not as special😂 he'll care for the child either way, the way he cares for Tal.

Barely anything substantial. Cei wanted to be a Radiant Host but failed to get in so he went to Eorzea to train up with the hopes of returning a better fighter. And look what happened to him. Now he's a melee master and after losing Talhaal, he declined invite to join the Radiant Host.

What little relationship they had was already eroding. Hades knew that Aeolus and Hermes had a tense relationship and was going behind Aeolus' back to ask Hermes to join as the seat of Fandaniel. Then he learned after the events of Elpis that Aeolus could care less about his own lover.

Something about rabbits on the moon creating medicines and mochi and Yotsuyu in post-StB #ceilore is journeying around with Gosetsu to create healing elixirs and offer simple yet filling meals to those in need
Don't know if he was a villain as much as he was a victim of his society but Hermes will always be a favorite. The Fandaniel/Amon side especially.
I ship Hermes with Cei's Azem which brings a different level of bittersweetness to #ceilore. He "dies" but gets the closure he needs. No Asahi included.
Cei feels true fear when faced with a guhasaya (or tiger). He was almost killed by one as a child when his leg was broken and he was alone in the jungle of Thavnair. Seeing them in Yanxia had him leaping out of his scales.

Quiet, self-conscious because of bullying due to his appearance, and very inquisitive to the point he'd wander off and get into dangerous situations. Auri children are already small and Cei's demeanor made him seem all the smaller as a child.

I wouldn't say I "adopted" anyone. More like I significantly rewrite story (like the entire second half of DT) to make more sense for #ceilore and by extension certain characters are changed as well. Appearance and timeline and plot wise, Erenville is my biggest npc change. A LOT of DT is different.
Cei's first "learned at a guild" job was pugilist. He went through the training until StB when Yugiri pulled him aside and taught him NIN to help him fight more cautiously. Martial arts isn't just "one job" to me. As he trained he expanded his skills and now he's a master of melee.

He came off a boat prior to the chocobo cart. Arrived at port near the Waking Sands, got an inn for the night to rest in, dealt with the culture shock, learned about Ul'dah, and got his chocowagon ticket.

Anyway I think of the Azim Steppe au ra tribes as different indigenous groups. There's more than 2 types of scale colors/patterns in #ceilore. The "raen" who migrated away are more representative of people assimilating to other cultures and lands, but they still hold onto the old values and beliefs.
Leofard and Ranaa don't stop by the Goblet house. Cei will meet them elsewhere. Estinien drops in (literally from the sky) when he feels like it, eats whatever food Cei made, takes a nice hot bath, and has a nap.
Cei doesn't lock his house because who is gonna try and steal from him?

During the first half of freeing Gyr Abania, Cei really was quite weak, slow, and ill-suited for war. But after Yugiri put him through the trenches during their time in Othard, he really came back swift, cunning, and a force to be reckoned with. His reputation really started from StB. #ceilore
Yotsuyu survives in #ceilore and goes on her own journey of healing with Gosetsu, and Cei definitely kicked Asahi's ass and seeing him again but getting some Really Terrible Feelings pushed onto him by Fandaniel sets him off badly. He's still working through the trauma of ShB.
EW is pain for him.
Every time I've reminded of In From the Cold, I have to think deeply on how I want it to play out in #ceilore, because I'm honestly still not sure. About Zenos mainly.
Yakno what, maybe I'll go truck along through msq on Xev to see how I want StB to really go.
