An Egret wades in a shallow river. The surface of the water reflects the Egret's curving neck and spear-like beak. It also reflects the white of the sky on the left and the green of the trees and bushes on the right, with the boundary between light and dark passing through where the Egret is standing. A rather excellent composition if I do say so myself!
The Egret, a turkey-sized wading bird that is all white, walks through the shallow river towards the camera.
The Egret stands still, shaking one of its legs to attract the fish, its head positioned ready to strike.

A large sphere is suspended above the ground by wires from slender lattice steel columns and beams. The sphere has the surface of the sun printed on it, actually it is a sculpture called 'Helios'. It is in the garden of a National Trust property called Charterhouse, in Coventry, and the old monastery which was then a manor house can be seen behind. An audience sits on the grass and on chairs at dusk while a singer and harp player improvise ragas (an indian style of singing).

We went to see Helios, a sculpture of the sun, at #Charterhouse in #Coventry. It was a wonderful warm evening with beautiful music as the sky grew darker.
