Decided to continue with #cherimaho TH now that my rewatch of the anime (JP VA) is winding down and my reread of the manga is done too
Despite being weirded out at first by changes to Tsuge's character, he's growing on me. Plus I LOVE Duj and it's nice that Pai/Fujisaki is getting more scenes!

OHHh just realized that to make up for the fact that KuroAda never get to visit a ship in Yokohama, #cherimaho anime instead makes Yokohama the setting of KuroAda's first date! That way we still get a shot of Adachi admiring ships even tho he no longer gets to be on one (due to budget most likely)

Anyways, in happier news, I've been rewatching #cherimaho anime... again... for the 3rd time... 😅But it's so comfy and I just love LOVE seeing KuroAda get together (as well as watch Kurosawa be such a SIMP for Adachi sdklmd)!

While the #cherimaho anime didn't get as detailed as the manga on KuroAda's first time, I really did like what the anime chose to focus on
Kurosawa immediately zeroing in on Adachi's mole, their entwined hands gripping each other's so tightly 👀 It's vanilla but so sensual you forget that!

Alt: manga panels from Cherry Magic volume 1 show Adachi thinking about how he's a virgin because he has issues touching women, even after trying to hire a prostitute to help him not be one anymore (and also because the woman's thoughts were too kinky for his mind-reading ability to handle).
Reading #cherimaho manga... again (5x or more now 🤣).But noticing more now that Adachi might have been more phobic toward women than the anime/live-action portrayed. Like he finds them attractive, but his fear of being physically intimate with them certainly doesn't show up w/ Kurosawa 🤔

Finished the #cherimaho EN dub and ahhhh, it was so so good. Line delivery and pacing were on point and the script was faithful yet original enough to make me appreciate the story more (esp Tsuge's lines LOL). Easily one of my favorite dubs ever (tho tbh I don't watch that many dubs)! 🥰
