The #Douglassquirrel is a #pine #squirrel found in western North America. It is sometimes known as the #chickaree or #pinesquirrel, although these names are also used for the American red squirrel.

Chickaree is a perpetual mood. Also such a firebrand of a species that John Muir wrote about it:
